the scale

six stamps.
no in-between.

Every place we visit lands on exactly one of these, highest first. Nothing gets a stamp for being nearby, nothing gets bumped up for buying us lunch.

Note: the stamp is given after eating, on camera, at our own cost. A place can move up or down if we go back and it has changed.

The Most Underrated Place in Konkan? | Mahad 😍

the story

one state.
a lot of plates.

Amey Kadam started Official Masta Company for a simple reason: the best food in Maharashtra almost never has a signboard, and nobody was rating it seriously.

A cart that has been frying the same batata vada for thirty years, a one-room khanaval feeding mill workers, a bakery in a coastal town that sells out by ten in the morning — these places get judged by word of mouth or not at all. OMC turned that into a format: turn up unannounced, eat what everyone else is eating, pay the bill, and put a stamp on it.

“If we take money for a rating, the rating is worth nothing. So we don’t take money for a rating.”

— the one rule the channel runs on

That rule is the whole product. No paid placements inside a review, no plates arranged in advance, no owner briefed before the camera comes out. When a place gets a Golden stamp, the audience knows exactly what it cost to get one: nothing, and everything.

And it was never going to stay in one city. Pune and Mumbai are the loudest food scenes in the state, but they are not the whole state. The channel travels — down into the Konkan for coastal thalis and monsoon-season sweets, east into Vidarbha for food hot enough to be a personality trait, through Marathwada and Khandesh where whole styles of cooking barely register online, and back through Kolhapur, Nashik and the Desh belt in between.

The map is the point. Maharashtra is not one cuisine, and OMC is not one city’s channel.

work with us

a stamp people believe

The reason to sponsor OMC is the same reason the ratings work: the audience has never seen one bought. That trust is the inventory — and it reaches across the whole state, not one metro.

what a partnership looks like

  • 1

    integrated segments

A brand mention built into the episode, kept structurally separate from the rating so the stamp stays credible.

  • 2

    travel & route partnerships

Statewide shoots mean fuel, stays and highway stops are all natural fits — a single-city channel cannot offer this.

  • 3

    regional launches

Launching in Nagpur, Kolhapur or the Konkan belt? The audience is already there, and already trusts the recommendation.
